Legendary Marketer is an online business training platform developed by David Sharpe one of the co founders of the Empower Network MLM company. And, some of his MLM experience seems to creep into Legendary Marketer. The primary entry into Legendary Marketer is through their 15-Day Business Builder Challenge at a cost of $7. If you take the challenge, you will then be pitched the more expensive courses (up sells) that range from $1447 up to $12000. Overall, while there is some good training, you can find as good or better online business training for much less money. Legendary Marketer – NOT RECOMMENDED.

The good, the bad, and the ugly, and see if it’s a Legendary Online Business Opportunity, or just a legendary SCAM, or maybe something in-between. What Is Legendary Marketer About?

Legendary Marketer is the brain child of David Sharpe, a nine-year veteran of online marketing. It consists of 4 separate training courses covering what the following areas of online business and marketing.

The entry into the overall Legendary Marketer eco system is through their 15-day Online Business Builder Challenge for $7 USD. You will be fed a new video training each day for the next 15 days that will give you the basics of online business and more about the available courses at Legendary Marketer.

You will also be contacted by a “coach” who will help guide you and, of course, encourage you to purchase one or more of their other offerings. If you purchase a course you get access to some very good online business training, but at a fairly steep price.

The training is provided via digital courses, and the support is provided through virtual coaching. They also sell Mastermind events and private one on one coaching sessions for an additional charge.

Who is David Sharpe?

So, who is this David Sharpe, and can you learn anything useful from him? David writes an impressive resume, complete with a rags-to-riches story, he has founded three multi million dollar companies, and accounted for over 250 million dollars in online sales.

Legendary Marketer uses some similar tactics as the Empower Network. Members can pay a monthly fee to promote Legendary marketer as an affiliate for large commissions. In fact, most of the reviews online are by Legendary Marketer member affiliates. So they have a financial incentive to write a positive review.

Now, to his credit, David doesn’t make any promises of get-rich-quick or easy money. In fact, if you read through his website disclaimer he states that the average affiliate income members earn is between $500 and $2000. Not much considering the affiliate marketing course will cost you $2500.

Through their network of affiliate members who are running ads and promoting legendary marketer they send interested prospects to the legendarymarketer.com website where they are encouraged to try the 15-day Online business builder challenge for “only” $7 USD.

The 15-Day Online Business Builder Challenge is your entry into the Legendary Marketer eco system and sales funnel. You simply sign up with your email address, pay your $7, and then they send you a video each day that introduces you to the four online business models covered within the Legendary Marketer blueprints.

You are also assigned a “Business Plan Adviser” aka salesman who follows up with you and helps guide you toward the purchase of the business blueprints. Like any business, there is no money in FREE, so they attempt to match your goals and skills with their various product offerings that would be the best fit.

Once you’ve completed the 15-day challenge, the idea is for you and you “Business Plan Adviser” to move you on to one of the blueprint courses. These are much more in depth training programs, one for each of the 4 business models covered in the Legendary Marketer platform. Each of these currently will set you back $2500 USD. Or, their monthly membership in the Legendary Marketers Club for $30 USD.

There are also live training sessions with Q&A sessions from six and seven figure internet marketers. And, as part of your membership, You will be allowed, or encouraged, to promote the legendary Marketer program as an affiliate to earn commissions from 10 – 60% depending on your level of memberships.

As a Legendary Marketer affiliate you will be sending traffic (customers) to the Legendary Marketer website to sign up for the 15-day Online Business Challenge where the “Business Plan Advisers” will follow up with them and guide them towards a purchase in which case you will earn a commission.

The basics of affiliate marketing is you promote other people’s products, often through an affiliate network, and earn a commission if someone ends up buying a product as a result of your marketing efforts.

Affiliate marketing is not only a legit business model, but it is still growing. In fact, 80% of brands have affiliate programs and 99% of people who are successful online, actually got their start with affiliate marketing.

They get people into David Sharpe’s sales funnel with the 15-day Online Business Challenge, and can earn big commissions if those people purchase any of the many up sells offered. If they purchase one of the business blueprints, for example, affiliates earn up to $1000 commission.

The price tag is very high. You can get as good, if not better, affiliate marketing training at any of the following alternatives. And, for much less money.

Again, as with all Legendary Marketer Business Blueprints, the price for the Digital Products training is $2500 USD. A better alternative, if you are interested in creating your own digital products, is John Thornhill’s Abassador Program. You will get great training on creating and marketing digital products, but John will actively promote your products to his followers and email lists. And, for less than half the price.

Coaching and Consulting
Business Blueprint

In the Legendary Marketers Coaching and Consulting Business Blueprint, you will be learning how to Take your expertise or passion and turn it into a service based coaching and or consulting business where you work on retainer or contract basis. If you have expertise or some specific knowledge this is quite possibly the fastest and easiest way to get into business for yourself and start generating revenue.

Inside the Coaching and Consulting Business Blueprint you’ll learn how to identify your niche market, create your offer and develop your sales pitch and marketing plans. As well as how to deliver your services and then scale your business for maximum profit. Legendary Marketer Mastermind is where you can gather with other members to share ideas, experiences and questions with each other and participate in live presentations by some of the most successful people in the online marketing world.

The live in person Mastermind sells for $4500 USD which can be a bit much particularly when you are just starting out. If you are more advanced and already earning money from your online business and looking to expand and scale your business, then perhaps attending the Legendary Marketer Mastermind is worth considering.

Is Legendary Marketer a SCAM?

Legendary Marketer is not a scam. They do offer valuable training and if you follow it, invest the time and effort, you can make money with their blueprint courses. There are less expensive, and in some cases better alternatives however. And, without the expensive up sells that Legendary Marketer hits you with.

There is a lot of training and information offered at Legendary Marketer, but it is rather expensive when compared to the alternatives. And, there are many additional tools and subscriptions that you will need to fully implement the Legendary Marketer Blueprints. These will be at additional costs to the price of the program, so be aware you will need additional funds.

Is Legendary Marketer Legit?

Yes, Legendary Marketer is a 100% legit online business training program. While much of the training focuses of promoting Legendary Marketer, the principles and strategies will work with other niches and products and have been proven over and over again.

The video training, coaching and masterminds are all first class productions with valuable, albeit expensive, information. If one follows the training, and then puts in the work and patience necessary to build an online business, you absolutely can make money with Legendary Marketer.

There is a bit of an MLM feel to Legendary marketer as most of the success stories are from members who’s primary source of income is from promoting Legenendary Marketer. Add to that, Legendary Marketer does not have a very good rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB.org) with many more complaints than positive reviews

How Much does Legendary Marketer Cost?

There are a number of price points for Legendary Marketer. The primary entry point it the 15-Day Online Business Builder Challenge that sells for $7 and provides 15 days of video training and an Online Business Adviser to steer you through the ecosystem.

If you purchase the Business Blueprints Starter Package for $2500, when offered during the 15-Day Challenge, you will save $7,500 compared to buying all 4 Blueprints separately. And there is a significant discount for membership in the Legendary Marketer’s club by paying $179 annually versus $30 per month which equals $360.

You can of course save some money on your Legendary Marketer’s Club membership by signing up for annual instead of monthly. The monthly plan works out to $360 per year, whereas the annual plan is only $179/year.

Is Legendary Marketer Worth It? Can you make money with legendary marketer?

Yes, IF. If you follow the training and invest the time and additional funds for software and tools you will need then put in the work, you absolutely can make money with Legendary Marketer. Is it worth it? Not to me when there are much less expensive and better alternatives for a fraction of the cost of Legendary Marketer.

How much money can you expect to make? Well on their own website, Legendary Marketer has the following income disclaimer.

According to this, Legendary Marketer affiliates could expect to earn only $500 to $2000 per year, minus expenses. When you figure in the cost of the program and the costs for software and tools, most affiliates will lose money.

So, given the cost of the program, the multiple up sells, cost of needed additional tools and software, combined with the fact that most affiliates will make little to no money, Legendary Marketer is not worth it in my opinion. But ultimately, you must do your own due diligence. After all, it is your money and time you will be investing and only you know what works best for you.

The 15-Day Business Bulder Challenge is the main entry point for Legendary Marketer, and it’s promoted as being for anyone wanting to start an online business but doesn’t know where to start. But, for the most part, it simply gives you some broad overview of online business strategies and not enough to build a business.

So, in my opinion, it’s not a good choice for beginners. You will find yourself needing more information, being pitched additional very expensive products and need to purchase additional software and tools to fully implement the training.

Most of the people that have success with legendary Marketer already have some experience in online marketing and are only members of Legendary Marketer to earn the large commissions offered to affiliates. In many cases, they haven’t even gone through the training themselves.

While Legendary Marketer does offer some good online business training, it comes at a very steep price when compared to some of the better alternative platforms available. Add to that David Sharpe’s history with the failed MLM Empower network and the MLM feel of the Legendary Marketer affiliate program, I can’t recommend it.

There are way too many expensive up sells that require you to spend $2500 or more to have any real chance of online business success. You need to purchase expensive tools and software to implement the training that will run up your costs several hundred dollars per month.

And, finally, the vast majority of success stories and positive review articles online are from affiliates earning high ticket commissions by promoting the Legendary Marketer program. Their own website income disclaimer states that, on average, students earn gross income from $500 – $2000. Pretty skimpy for a Business Blueprint that alone sets you back $2500. For these reasons I do not recommend Legendary Marketer.

10 Major (CONS) Concerns with Legendary Marketer

1.The Good Reviews are from Legendary Marketer Affiliates

The overwhelming majority of good reviews you find online concerning Legendary Marketer are written by Legendary Marketer affiliates. They have a financial incentive to write a good review in the hopes of getting you to purchase the program through their review.

Many of these reviews are nothing more than sales pages for Legendary Marketer and give you little information on the actual contents, hidden costs, up sells and requirements of the platform. You should at the very least search for reviews of the program by non affiliates to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.

2. Many Expensive Upsells

Once you enter the Legendary Marketer ecosystem and are assigned your “Business Plan Adviser”, you will be presented with numerous rather expensive up sells from $1447 up to $12000. Not including the $30 monthly fee to become a member of the Legendary Marketer Club.

The platform seems designed to keep you wanting, and spending more, instead of actually helping your achieve success in the world of online business.

If you’re looking for a business opportunity that doesn’t involve all those expensive up sells, you may want to consider my #1 recommended platform.

3. Focus on Paid Traffic

The Legendary Marketer’s focus is on paid traffic methods. Specifically paid advertising on Google, YouTube and Facebook. While paid traffic does work and yields much quicker results than organic or free traffic, I wouldn’t recommend it to beginners.

There is a steep learning curve with paid traffic methods and if you are on a tight budget, you could run out of money long before you see in success with your paid ads. In fact, most people who try to run paid traffic for affiliate promotions lose money.

4. Minimal to No SEO Training

Legendary Marketer focuses primarily on paid traffic from sources like Facebook ads, YouTube ads and Google ads. Which is great for them as they get you to spend money on paid ads to promote their product for them. 😉 If you take a look at their most successful super affiliates you will find that they use SEO to generate FREE organic traffic.

5. You will need to Purchase Additional Tools

In addition to the cost of the Legendary Marketer program, you will need additional tools and software subscriptions to implement the training. These tools will add hundreds of dollars to your business expenses. You will need tools like a keyword research tool which alone can cost you $99 per month.

In addition, Legendary Marketer uses the Clickfunnels software that also costs $99 per month. You will also need funds for website hosting, email marketing and paid traffic methods. And, by recommending these tools, they stand to earn affiliate commissions themselves when you purchase or subscribe to them.

6. Most of the Success Stories are Affiliates

The success stories for Legendary Marketer are mostly from affiliates who are promoting Legendary Marketer. Again, similar to most MLM programs, those who make the most money are those who promote the program to others.

Many super affiliates have joined the program for the strict purpose of earning the large commissions offered by promoting the high ticket offers at Legendary Marketer. These are not beginners, but seasoned veteran online marketers. Many of them don’t even use the training offered at Legendary marketer.

7. The Training May be too Advanced For Beginners

The training at Legendary Marketer can be a bit much for a complete novice to online marketing. There is a lot of emphasis on paid advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. And, while these can work, there is a steep learning curve and added costs to run ads. Even veterans often lose money on their ads.

Most of these techniques are more suited to intermediate or advanced online marketers. Be very careful and watch your budget. You could run up quite an advertising bill before you learn how to put together a profitable advertising campaign.

8. Very Limited Technical Support

In order to fully implement the training at Legendary Marketer, you will need to purchase additional tools, software and services. Each of these require some learning in their own right to integrate into your business. That means a lot of moving parts and a lot of potential technical issues.

And, you will have to deal with the different providers and their technical support people. It can get overwhelming, particularly for beginners when you run into an issue and need help. Legendary Marketer has a Facebook group where you can ask questions and maybe get some advice, but if not, you will be left to fend for yourself.

This is a very expensive program to have such a limited technical support. On My #1 recommended alternative you will have access to 24/7 technical support. They have a technical team standing by any time to help you when you encounter technical problems and they are very responsive and quick to handle any issues. Also, there is a community of 2.3 million members there that are happy to help you when you have questions.

9. You Need to Pay to Promote Legendary Marketer

This is where Legendary Marketer starts to look a little like an MLM which is understandable given David Sharpe’s background as co-founder of the MLM Empower Network. But it is unusual in the affiliate marketing to require your affiliates to pay in order to promote your products.

In most cases, if you want to promote a product at Legendary Marketer, you will need to submit an application and actually purchase the product in order to earn affiliate commissions from that product. If, for example, you are promoting Legendary Marketer and have only purchased the Legendary Marketer Club for $30 per month.

If someone comes to Legendary Marketer through your ads or promotions and purchases a blueprint package instead, you won’t earn the commission because you are not a Blueprint member. So, all of your money for ads and promotion is wasted.

To have the potential to earn the most commissions, you have to purchase all the products which is quite expensive and very MLM/pyramid type tactics.

10. Poor Refund Policy

There is no free trial for Legendary Marketer. And, they only offer a 30-day guarantee on the 15-Day Business Builder Challenge and the Legendary Marketer Club. All other purchases (up sells), the very expensive ones, have only a 3-day refund policy as seen below.
